Roderick and Liz met while out serving youth at a high school career fair in Jackson. Roderick had a crowd of awe-struck students surrounding him and cheering him on as he flew his drone across the convention center. Shortly afterwards, Roderick spotted Liz at a Loft Session in Midtown, dancing to house music. She was two-stepping from side to side in the middle of the dance floor with a huge goofy smile across her face.

After spending the next few months finding out how much they have in common and being inspired by each other’s strengths and differences, they started dating.
